Care Quality Commission (CQC)

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the government's independent regulator of health and adult social care services.  Their goal is to ensure essential standards are met across the health sector for the benefit of patients and professionals.

All GP practices need to be registered with the CQC under the 'Health and Social Care Act 2008'.
