Generally we see patients with appointments only, but emergencies will be seen at the end of surgery. Please telephone the surgery and the receptionist will advise you when to come.
Our Doctors are happy to discuss medical problems and give advice over the telephone. Please contact the surgery and the receptionist will allocate you a time slot to telephone to speak to the Doctor. This will normally be after 11.30 a.m.
If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:30am if you require a home visit.
A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.
Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability. Home visits are at the discretion of the doctor and are not available for minor illnesses. Lack of transport does not warrant a home visit.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
Surgeries and clinics are generally held on the ground floor and a toilet with facilities for the disabled is available.
