NHS 111
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 on 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Derby Urgent Care Centre
This walk in centre is based at Entrance C London Road Community Hospital Osmaston Road, Derby. It is staffed by experienced NHS practitioners and provides healthcare advice, and treatment for patients with minor ailments, such as; coughs, colds, flu-like symptoms, minor cuts and bruises, sprains and strains, skin complaints, men’s and women’s health problems and emergency contraception.
It is open seven days a week (including bank holidays) from 8am to 8:00pm. No appointment necessary. Tel: 01332 224700
