Patient Participation Group
We now have a small group of patients who meet face to face to discuss our practice and the services we provide.
The purpose of the group is to ensure that patients and carers are involved in decisions about the range, shape and quality of services provided by the practice.
If you are a patient of our practice and would be interested in joining the Patient Participation Group, please contact the practice manager for more details.
Patients have a key role to play as partners in supporting the development of general practice and in ensuring the sustainability of the NHS as a whole.
We have recently established a ‘face to face’ Patient Participation Group (PPG) so that our patients can have their say about the services we provide.
The PPG can gain and act on a range of patient and carer feedback from:
- GP patient survey
- Receiving complaints and suggestions
- Healthwatch
- Friends and Family Test (FFT)
- CQC reports
We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.
To help us with this, we have set up a virtual patient representation group so that our patients can have their say. We ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what they think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service they have received.
We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from all ethnic groups. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys short, so it shouldn’t take up too much of your time.
If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please complete our PPG registration form.
We will be in touch shortly after we receive your form. Please note that no medical information or questions will be responded to.
